Conference Description:

Dear researcher,

The PRO-TEM Network (Process Industry Thermal Energy Management Network) is organising the Thermal Energy Management Conference (TEM 2010) on the 3rd November 2010 in Newcastle, UK. The objective of the conference is to disseminate research which addresses this theme and is applicable to improving energy utilisation in the process industries.

The scope of TEM 2010 will include whole systems analysis, optimisation of equipment and processes, process integration, low grade heat, modelling, sensor and control systems, use of novel technology and cycles, energy maintenance and diagnostics, and any other relevant topics.

Up to 20 selected papers from TEM 2010 will appear in a special issue of Applied Energy journal published by Elsevier. http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journal description.cws_home/405891/description# description

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit a research paper for the TEM 2010 conference.
We are asking authors to submit the proposed paper title and a short abstract by the 12th April 2010. It is planned that acceptance of the abstract will be confirmed by the 26th April 2010 and the deadline for full paper submission, for peer reviewing in line with Elsevierís editorial policy, will be the 5th July 2010.

Please could you confirm your interest in submitting a paper by the 15th March 2010 to the PRO-TEM Network Coordinator j.l.chin@ncl.ac.uk .

We are looking forward to receiving your response and if there is any further information you require, please do not hesitate to contact the PRO-TEM Network Coordinator.
