In its 3rd year, Airfield Engineering and Asset Maintenance Summit is dedicated to gathering senior Operations and Engineering experts from major airports, aviation authorities, and international aviation organisations to discuss the key challenges airports face in maintaining and improving airfield pavements and other valuable assets. It’s the leading event in Asia and has successfully attracted over 100 thought leaders and senior engineers from airports globally each year.
For 2012: With an exponential growth in aircraft movements and the onset of new aircraft designs, Intensive research with airport operators around the region has indicated the need for quality maintenance of the airfield assets through coordination, speed and efficiency. In addition, there is also an interest to successfully increase the structural lifespan of their assets through novel pavement design and maintenance strategies.
