Conference Description:
A research community congress to explore ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of the new genomics, hosted by the Center for Genomics and Society at UNC-Chapel Hill with funding from the ELSI Research Program of the National Human Genome Project.
Through keynote speakers, plenary panels, and poster presentations, the Congress will provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary and international scholars to reflect upon the most important science of the century, and to envision future directions for ELSI research. the Congress seeks the engagement of researchers and students from inside and outside academia and from multiple disciplines and professions.
