Conference Description:
Being able to recover and extract isolated personnel from behind enemy lines entails a dangerous and complex mission set requiring the successful integration of procedures and equipment from a variety of nations. From recovering isolated personnel in urban terrain to complex hostage recovery scenarios, Joint Personnel Recovery 2010 will bring to the fore the latest thinking and approaches on JPR from a variety of countries, as well as build a comprehensive knowledge of the current capabilities available and the requirements of the future.
Joint Personnel Recovery 2010 will build on Defence IQ’s successful track record of bringing together a high calibre speaker panel from within the JPR community to offer a series of incisive briefings covering:
• Combat Search and Rescue
• Developing new doctrines
• Training suitable for a broad selection of service personnel
• Interoperable assets
• Execution of multi-national personnel recovery operations in hostile theatre environments
